Last weekend in our kids ministry was exceptionally awesome! There was lots going on, and I was rushing around as usual. Then, I stepped into our elementary worship service. I entered during the 10:45 service, just as they were getting ready to pray. A boy came back to where I was standing, and told me that he wanted to pray and ask Jesus into his heart! I was excited to pray with him. After we prayed, he looked at me, with eyes full of tears, and said "Thank you!" Then, he hugged me really tight!
Wow! He thanked me?!
It was all I could do to keep myself from crying really hard! This is why I do what I do. God has chosen me to lead kids into a relationship with Him. Wow again!
I am in awe of God. He could do this all by himself, but he chooses to use people like you and me!. That being said, I am so thankful. It's an honor to serve Him!
